With over 325 days of sunshine a year and a warm, dry climate, it's no surprise the Coachella Valley has become a mecca for golf. In particular, La Quinta, named by the Robb Report as "America's ultimate golfing destination." There are 21 courses in La Quinta, and more than a hundred in the Coachella valley, which is also home to Palm Springs and Palm Desert. Both of our residences are on fairways in PGA West, the largest golf complex in the desert with six courses. Overlooking the valley to the east are the rugged 800,000 acres of Joshua Tree National Park.
